Supertramp

Often I get quotes or lyrics that pop into my head and I --simply--must--express them! So I have decided to use this blog as an outlet for that.

"Now some they do and some they don't,
And some you just can't tell.
And some they will and some they won't,
And some it's just as well."

Goodbye Stranger, Supertramp

Hey!

Lee's home! And he's in the Treasue Valley! And he's buff. And smooth with the ladies. :P Welcome home ol' buddy ol' pal!

Thappy Hanksgiving!

Happy Holidays, amigos! Hey, and it turns out I'll be speaking in church up in Boise on the 10th of December, in case anyone is interested. I know I was interested once. It was pretty wild!

For those of you who would like to see more concrete proof that Lee is in fact a genius and master of art you can visit this little page right here... http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23554&st=315 Shweet!

Space: The Frontal Finier

Hey Hans!

Yaaaah???

Teeheehee, it Grayson's latest. A must-see. Although I guess I wouldn't know, because I haven't even seen it. And yet, I have faith. And that's what this world needs a little (or a lot) more of, among other things.

I one the skunk. You always want to one the skunk because if you two the skunk, you're in for it. This is so because as the sequence continues you find yourself going from two-ing the skunk to four-ing and six-ing the skunk, none of which seem to be too bad except for the fact that they set up for what comes next, namely, eight-ing the skunk. Er, that is, you eight the skunk. Which is just plain gross, no matter how much ketchup or catsup or dogsdown you put on it, I don't care. There are just some lines that should not be crossed. Or intersected. Or bisected.

So anyway, you know how basketball is the best sport ever? Turns out, that's still the case. And probably always will be. Moving on.

Scientists made a startling discovery today that utterly shakes and shocks the foundations of the world of knowledge. Apparently, they have proven that having children is hereditary; which is tantamount to saying, if your folks didn't have any kids, chances are you won't either.

Ok, so that was taken from a Jackie Vernon act. He's prittee funnee gai! Oh yah, I 'gree. Varee funnee gai.

Well, I've never been to Spain

But I kinda like the music.

Hmmm, not much to say. I'm 19. The last of my teenage years. Looking back, I'd say it's about time. That's what the commercials say, anyway, about family.

Boise has a special place in my heart, there's no doubt about that. I went to school there last year, I've got some good memories going to movies and hanging out there, I've gone hiking and floating there... No doubt Boise's exceedingly loved by me.

Kuna is also highly endeared. The park... The church... The cousins... The friends... The movies, both created and viewed... The schooling... The riding my bike, the playing basketball... the parades... the Kuna Drive-In, as it used to be called... Trick or Treating... Scouts... Breaking my collar bone... the list goes on and on.

Nampa, not so much. Although I've done some plays there, got some dental work done there, done some eating, singing, shopping, and a good deal of driving there, often in the dark or heavy rain. Nampa, you're a rogue, you know that?

Garden City, I haven't quite figured out. It's like, it really SHOULD be Boise, but it's not. I've done a little bit of dallying in your parts, going to the fair, performing at the fair, set construction, swapping cars with my dad, getting drug-tests done (hmmm, that's a negative for ol' GC). Generally you just drive right through or by Garden City. Except for the late-night treats. Mmm...

Meridian, you old rascal. You've taken many years of my life. School, work, play... I don't think you've got much of an identity yet. You're all over the place, man. I got pulled over for my first time in meridian. My car broke down and then un-broke down in Meridian. Ice cream, stake dances (even in tuxes!), zero-hour seminary (yawn), more late and crazy nights... Clean Flicks, Big-O, a flower, swimming, more eating... Graduating, programming... Of course, a couple movies in there...

Eagle is mostly moving stuff around and dance. A movie here, a lot of driving there, and some shopping. Crazy drivers on Eagle Road. A sweet spring night a year ago, a tasty afternoon that same year... Usually driving through, but usually a good stop.

Caldwell--wow, this list could go on and on. I don't think this blog belongs on the lee and mac blog, does it? It probably doesn't belong on any blog... Unless I can tie it all in. ... Nope, I can't. Oh well. Oh, look, a scheduled outage at 4:00PM PDT. It's so nice that you can schedule things like outages these days. Why, I remember back in the times when outages just happened out of the blue. No warning, just SREECH!!! BAM!!! MOO!!!

"You've been outbid. Bid again!" I'll show you Bid again, grumble grumble...

Why would anyone want to go and get themselves chemically and psychologically addicted to alcohol when you can get the same effect (for free) if you just use your imagination... Didn't you learn anything from Barney? Alice in Wonderland? John Kerry?

Dun.

Movie on Youtube

If there is in fact anyone who reads these things besides Mac and myself. You may be interested to know that I've completed a 4 minute animation that's premeiring on youtube.com It's called Batman: The Last Bang . Even though the Riddler does not appear in this movie, I've included an image of him here to wet your tastes. If I did another animation I hope it would be the quality of the picture and not the movie.

Anyway, I hate to just make this a shrine to my animation skills (even as advanced as they are) so I thought I'd say something different. However, I seem to have decided against it. Oh wait! In four days Mac is going to note the anniversary of his date of birth. Congrats Mac! May you see another glorious 30 years...er...19! Thanks world and in the words of Kip

Peace out

Still got it!

Considering my last post was a bit vague, I thought I'd elaborate a little. You see, I took a brief vacation from animating due to the obsessive animating binges I'd have. Well, I'm back on it with a little more self-control (at least I'd like to think so). Anyway, the project I'm working on is an adventure game of my favorite Star Wars related book.

http://dsgames.guerrestellari.net/ (look in the staff section, teehee!)

I informed my italian buddies (yes, they are all in the Rome time zone) that I'll be leaving for a mission soon, and that I'll only have a little time to work with them. So far, I've created the 3-D reference for the princess Leia character, and the entire character of C-creepio. Enclosed is a picture of two older models on the left and the recently completed from scratch, creepio model (ain't he cute?). Which I think proves, after all, that I still got it!

I'm afraid this post was amazingly boring, especially considering that our reader(s) is/are mostly female. Sorry ladies, and sorry Mac, who's already heard all this.

Not to take away Mac's steam

Hey, I just was about to post when I saw that Mac had...uh...written...something. I'm still trying to figure out what it all means. I do know, that if I ever did figure it out, I could probably at least get my BA for it. Yeah, Mac, you just keep on doin' what you're doin'.

Well, this isn't as exciting, but I have two different version of a picture from Kiss Me, Kate. The tall one with his hands in his pockets is me.

That's the one the pros took and this next one is a PSd version of my own making. (Mac, you one the bet, the director said this pic looked very film noir [said "no-are"]. So that's that)

The 42nd Post...

Well, for those of you keeping track, this is in fact 29th post. For those of you not keeping track, this can be whatever number of post you want (e.g. 42nd). Not to be confused with 42nd Street, which I don't know anything about because I've never been to New York and I've never seen the show. Nor would I know anything about 52nd Street because I can't remember the Billy Joel song about it; however, I do remember the Simon and Garfunkel song 59th Street Bridge Song (AKA Feelin' Groovy) so I do consider myself somewhat of an authority on that particular subject. I mean, I am aware (as are all the other 59th street specialists) that there is at least one "lamp-post" on the street and not only is it "knowin'", but it has "flowers growin'"; and as we learn from the New Jersey (which is right next to New York) -native Paul Simon in said song it has "no rhymes for me". And furthermore, I know all about the "cobblestone" which one may "kick" "down". So, you can see that when it comes to the 59th Street, I am all over it. But 42nd street, or even 52nd street for that matter, is "a stranger now unto me", and has always been, as far as I can recall. But don't let that confuse you with the 42nd or 52nd post! And Post cereal, that's another box of chocolates, so to speak, although I don't know if they sell chocolate cereal or not, I might have to have my VP look into that for me...

MySpace.com - A Place for Friends. That's what it says at the top of one of their pages; I'm not kidding or adolescenting, that's actually what it says. Now (and later -- mmm, those are pretty good) what they fail to mention is how it's also a place for people who are not friends and who may even be anti-friends, so to speak. But one can expect that because, I mean, if I were trying to get people to use my website and it was a place for people of all three categories (friends, non-friends, and anti-friends, whatever in the world those are) then I would want to focus on the fact that it is a place for friends. That is, as they say, my strong point. Thus we see that the whole Internet is a bad thing and should be, like, burned in a great bonfire. The benefit of that, other than getting rid of the Internet, is that it would release a considerable amount of heat, which would help keep the cold children warm that wander our streets. That's the only thing the Internet is good for.

Note for elucidation: "non-friends", by apparent definition, would include "anti-friends", for "anti-friends" are not friends. But this is not what is meant by "non-friends" in the context; rather, "non-friends" is meant to be people who are neither friends nor "anti-friends", and so therefore might more suitably be called "no-friends" because they have no relationship of type friend, whether that relationship be "pro-friend" (which is the more suitable, favored version of "friend") or "anti-friend". This is the proper categorization of the three groups.

Additional notes (this is really going overboard, one might say): "no-friends" carries problems as a category, for it yields some confusion on the point of meaning that the focal individual of the relationships has no friends, which is not at all an acceptable application of the word. Also, if we have a "no-friends" group, then that means that we must needs have a "friends" group (confusing in its own right) which contains those people with a relationship of type friend, whether that relationship be for or against.

Isn't Dick Van Dyke the man? I have to say, I am one of his biggest fans, a big fan of the D Van D Man. And, uh... Jackie Chan.

Well, to all you listeners out there, thank you for tuning in for... ...this evening's edition of the Grayson, Movie, Review.

Hello.
